Abstract

Allamma Muhammad Iqbal of Ijtihad is a broad term, in which a personal investigation according to the principles of religion is carried out and applied to modern requirements. Iqbal considers the purpose of Ijtihad to be very important to keep the Quran and Sunnah safe from soullessness and stagnation, therefore, a legislature decides for the liberation and revival of the Islamic nation. These who decide on modern requirements in the light of Quran and Sunnah. This is the distinguishing feature of  a global Islamic thinker like Alama Iqbal, Has the distinctive feature of his constant recurrent of freedom, which is no more revolting against the established traction
